Optics Division
The JCCOM’s Optical Division manufactures ferrules, optical connectors, modules, splitters, and receptacles which are essential components in optical communication. By implementing a vertically aligned technology system from materials to components, the company can differentiate itself from any other competitor in the world.
Through the establishment of a production subsidiary in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China, the company completed a low-cost, highly efficient system. Our Gaesong Corporation, established by the company in the Gaesong Industrial complex as the first such instance in the optical communication industry as a part of the national project, has a business model of world-class ability, price and technology advantages through high-quality labor and productivity.
By supplying products to manufacturers of optical communication systems used by the domestic wired and wireless communication operators, KT, SKT, LG Powercom, LGT, cable TV companies, and global wired and wireless communication operators, JCCOM plays the role of a leading supplier of optical communication components.
Petrochemical Division
The JCCOM’s Petrochemical Division is based on Daewon Petrochemical, which was established in 1981, and produces various compound products using petrochemical technology through linkage.
In particular, cable waterproofing used to be a product that depended on the import of all previous products. As the first South Korean developer of the technology, the company demonstrates excellent quality competitiveness as a supplier to domestic cable companies such as LS Cable and Taihan Cable, and other leading cable manufacturers in the world. Through ongoing cost reduction and technology development, the company is supplying to 80 companies in about 20 countries worldwide with high quality and price competitiveness compared to existing suppliers, and is expanding its territory to where products are supplied to the present day.
Anticipating the growing demand for fertilizer as a result of the expanding global food supply, the company produces an anti-caking agent used in compound fertilizer and anti-rust grease used in wire ropes, which plays a large part in building construction infrastructure.
In line with the global era of the 21st century, the company has established a production subsidiary in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China, and has been striving to develop and produce more competitive products, making efforts to create global marketing based not only on the Chinese domestic market but also by using its China factory as a bridgehead. Through technology research and development, the company is also continuously investing in the development of eco-friendly products.
